This Novena for Finding Employment is for anyone seeking work, a new career opportunity, meaningful employment, or guidance in discerning God’s will. It is a prayer of faith, asking not only for a job but also for the wisdom, perseverance, and trust to recognize God’s plan and use one’s gifts in service to others.
Opening Prayer (Pray Each Day)
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Heavenly Father,
You are the source of every good gift and the provider of all our needs. You have blessed each person with unique talents and called us to serve You through our work.
Today I come before You with humility and trust, asking for Your guidance as I seek employment.
I place before You my special intention:

Merciful Lord,

Bless employers, business owners, and those responsible for hiring. Grant them wisdom, fairness, and compassion. If it is Your will, lead them to recognize the gifts You have entrusted to me.

Heavenly Father,
Today I place my future completely into Your hands. Whether You answer my prayer today or ask me to wait longer, help me remain faithful and hopeful.
Lead me to employment where I can grow in faith, serve others with love, provide for my responsibilities, and honor You through my work.
May every success I receive bring glory to Your holy name.
