Saint Anthony of Padua (1195–1231) was a Franciscan priest, renowned preacher, and Doctor of the Church. He is especially honored as the Patron Saint of Lost Things, the poor, travelers, and those seeking God’s guidance. Through his deep love for Jesus, devotion to Sacred Scripture, and compassionate care for those in need, countless people have experienced God’s help through his intercession. This novena may be prayed at any time, especially in preparation for his feast on June 13.

Faithful servant of God and devoted follower of Jesus Christ, you spent your life proclaiming the Gospel, serving the poor, and leading many souls back to God. Through your powerful intercession, countless people have found hope, guidance, and comfort in times of need.
With confidence in your prayers before the Lord, I entrust to you my special intention:
