Mark 3:20-21

And they come to a house, and the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. And when his friends had heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him. For they said: He is become mad.

Even Jesus faced misunderstanding from those closest to Him. His relatives thought He was acting strangely and sought to restrain Him. This Gospel offers encouragement to anyone who has experienced criticism while trying to follow God’s will. Faithfulness does not always bring approval from others. Sometimes obedience requires perseverance despite misunderstanding. Jesus remained focused on His mission because He trusted the Father completely. We too are called to remain faithful when others fail to understand our choices. God’s approval matters more than human opinion, and His guidance leads us toward lasting fulfillment.
