Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me all you that labor and are burdened, and I will refresh you. Take up my yoke upon you, and learn of me, because I am meek, and humble of heart: And you shall find rest to your souls. For my yoke is sweet and my burden light.
In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus offers rest to those who labor and are burdened. His invitation is personal and tender: come to Me. Many people carry exhaustion from work, worry, grief, or hidden struggles. Christ does not dismiss these burdens; He invites us to bring them to Him. His yoke is not a crushing weight but a relationship of trust, guidance, and love. This Gospel reminds us that spiritual rest begins when we stop carrying everything alone. Today, may we surrender our burdens to Jesus and learn from His humble heart.
