John 3:16-18
For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting. For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world: but that the world may be saved by him. He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
God’s love is the foundation of salvation. In sending His Son into the world, the Father reveals His desire to save rather than condemn. This Gospel summarizes the heart of the Christian message: divine love offered freely to humanity. Faith is our response to that gift. As we reflect on God’s generosity, we are invited to live with gratitude, hope, and trust. Christ came so that we might share in eternal life and experience the fullness of God’s love.
