This Novena for Safe Travel is for anyone preparing for a journey by land, sea, or air, or for those praying for the safety of loved ones who are traveling. It asks God to grant protection, wisdom, peace, and a safe return home. It may be prayed before a trip or throughout the days of travel.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Heavenly Father,
You are our refuge, our strength, and our faithful guide. Wherever we go, Your loving presence goes before us. You watch over Your children with unfailing care and never abandon those who place their trust in You.
Today I entrust to You my journey (or the journey of __________).

If it is according to Your holy will, grant a safe and peaceful journey. Protect me from every danger, guide each step of my travels, and bring me safely to my destination and home again.

Bring all travelers safely to their destinations and home again. Help us use every journey as an opportunity to grow in gratitude, kindness, and trust in Your providence.
Through the intercession of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, Saint Christopher, patron of travelers, Saint Raphael the Archangel, guide and companion on life’s journey, and Saint Joseph, faithful protector of the Holy Family, keep us safe and lead us always toward Your heavenly Kingdom.
